The current idea is that the black market was a small part of the world originally. But after everything sort of went down the drain and the royals lost a bit of control the black market grew FAST. Overtaking previous towns, now the residential area and "old town" regions and created new groups and factions in the market themselves. The outpost and Circus are a bit further away from the market, both rather close to the exit of the void, causing a lot of nightmares and a few dreams to end up with the circus, as some just "settle down" as soon as they can. The outpost is similar, getting a lot of nightmares and dreams, but they tend to transport them to the market if they're not fully on board or not sure if they want to join the outpost. In a "maybe you'll be happier there" way, not a "we don't want you here" way. Sidereus and Tenebrae are connected to something i can just call a hole in the ground. Tenebrae isn't a destination you can actually reach through Sidereus, it's more of a window to it. Having a bit of distance to the market, outpost and circus the capitol quickly lost "control" over it, causing the market to grow rapidly. It's not a lawless land by any means, more of a community driven part of the realm. The Capitol does it's best to help the people there but with the king turning into a hermit, the queen missing and now the children of the royal family reigning (without much preparation for most of them) it gets a bit messy.

So uhm, i had the brilliant idea to make everything except the backround of the triptych out of cardboard and... i might've overdone it. Anyway. So i made a cardboard version of Eit. Backgrounds are all done, procrastinating on the sheep tho
