I know I said the FNAF Community is one of the best communities I’ve ever entered I’m gonna talk about one of its flaws with it:
Expectations
People in this community can have their expectations set way too high. Security Breach is a great example of this. The hype got so overwhelming for that game, that some fans rushed the developers. When the game was released, it was a buggy mess. Thankfully, steel wool fixed everything, But still, this is why you shouldn’t rush developers of a game.
Another thing is about fan games. Fans have expectations too high for those too. Like, For some devs, they just wanna make a fan game for fun and not to be popular. To make matters worse, if that fan game doesn’t live up to the expectations, it’s automatically bad. I mean, giving criticism is one thing, but calling a game bad just because it doesn’t live up to the expectations is just dumb.
anyways, that’s just what I wanted to talk about. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk
