especially to find a different idea, create a weird experiment but one that works. I grew up with a lot of so-called extreme horror movies, with weird, over-the-top stuff, or just experimental films. I really want to avoid making VHS or ransomware-style stuff (I’m not judging, I know there are really good VHS and ransomware works) I just really want to give my own aesthetic, present worlds on so-called terrifying or weird subjects, experiment with ideas that really disturb, with designs that are either simple but creepy or complex but grotesque
That's why I prefer to stay in 2D and why I just want to create games to scare people! Believe me, some games I work on, like Cake or Teletubbie Trash, give me chills down my spine; I even threw up for Teletubbie Trash because the story terrified me (which I guess works lol
)
Also, in most of my games, there is one thing that comes back in all my fangames (if I even manage to release them), which is creating two big contrasts: good and evil! I love creating ultra-human characters, good ones that represent humanity, but also creating the worst monsters in the world, and I especially love when the good defeats the evil (yes, it's very simple, but I feel like this logic of good winning is disappearing). And I want to highlight how capable I am of creating so-called good characters as well as so-called horrible characters.
Anyway, sorry for this loooooooong post I made, I hope you had a good time anyway! Also, watch some underground movies! Believe me, it can really help you out!!!
