In Swapfell world of The Ruined Underground Chara would actually be trying to get rid of their soul trait, that's why it's all red, determined as an opposite to gaining power from Chara in the original.

b) really believing Asgore would destroy humanity with 7 souls
c) wanting Frisk to actually give up on fighting Asgore and stay in The Underground (manipulation)
