So it all started around yesterday. I was on the internet looking at random stuff until I got a notification from my friends. They said that they and some other programmers are working on a Sonic 3 PC port with some bonus content, and asked if I wanted an early build of it. I did like Sonic at the time, so I said yes and they sent me the download.

Upon booting it up, it didn't start normally. It was a black screen. I tried pressing a bunch of keys, but it didn't budge. Eventually I just decided to go outside for a little bit and touch grass. Once I came back, I noticed that it was already in a level. Strange...

I was in Launch Base, as Knuckles. I thought I would've been Sonic, but alright then. I noticed that there weren't any enemies, as if something already destroyed them. I decided it was probably because the level was work in progress, so I got to the end of the level. Something felt off about the results screen.

As I got into Act 2, the game just closed itself after 9 seconds. I booted it back up, only to be met with Knuckles in Angel Island for some reason? I continued onward, only for Sonic to appear in front of Knuckles and tear his heart out.

The game closed itself yet again. Each time I try to boot the game up, it just closes itself again. I told my friends about what happened, but they told me they didn't add that stuff.

I tried to forget what happened that night, but I kept having nightmares of Knuckles dying in gruesome ways.

And here we are today. They sent me another build, which added Tails as a playable character.
