Making character movement and the HUD took way longer than I thought doing that in Pocket Code for Sonic 3 Mobile back when I started, it was a huge challenge without a PC.
My planning? Well, I keep it simple:
I get an idea, think about how it fits the #Sonic style, and start building.
I prefer jumping into the engine and seeing what feels right.
I use Sonic Maker as image example btw.
My favorite mobile game is Sonic Rumble Party! There is nothing like high speed, chaotic fun in the Sonic Realm to keep the energy up.
