SONIC.NES Round 2: Taluigi’s Castle has been cancelled for several reasons below:


- From a plot standpoint, a sequel is entirely pointless if the story had already mostly ended in the first game.

- SONIC.NES wasn’t really big enough to warrant a sequel in the first place, so it wouldn’t be in my best interest to continue it as it’ll just be more “exeslop” that’ll bite the dust upon release.

- the possibility that mfa file might still end up being lost regardless

SONIC.NES V2 is definitely safe and going well right now, it’s surely gonna come out so don’t even worry about that. Some of the stuff from Round 2 however might be carried over to V2.

Now in this version, if that happens, you'll only have to play from Scrap Brain 3 and still retain your emeralds.
