Pikachu and Tails were quiet on their way to the HQ. Tails then spoke up,

"Pikachu..i'm sorry if I upset you for not giving you to help Sonic because you're hurt."

"I-it's a-alright, T-Tails." Pikachu stammered sniffles were heard. "I..just..need..some..alone..time.." She then put her hoodie on her head and rode her hoverboard faster ( (A/N) like from Sonic Riders). "Pikachu wait up!" Tails then flew faster to catch up with her.

~They arrived at the HQ~

"Tails! Pikachu!" Amy said. She then walked up to the hedgehog and fox. "What happened? Are you two okay?" Amy asked in a worry tone. "I'm fine. Just..Pikachu" Tails said. "She's hurt?!" Nebula said as she walked to them. "Just a scratch." Pikachu said, quietly. But Nebula made Pikachu to rolled up her sleeve. "This is not a scratch! You're bleeding!" Amy said. "Come on, let us help". Nebula said, dragging Pikachu by her other arm. "You can wait with the others in front, Tails." Amy said to the kitsune. "Alright" He then went in front with the others

After Amy and Nebula helped Pikachu with her bruise, the three girls then went in front. Pikachu leaned against the wall at the corner and cross her arms with her hoodie on. Her friends looked at her with worry. "She's never like that" Silver said. "Yeah..I guess she's worried about Sonic.." Charmy said

Vector then entered the base. He looked saddened. He then spoke up

"Eggman's army is unstopptable! Without Sonic, the people are losing hope and giving in to despair."

"I still dream that Sonic is with us. Do you think he might be..." Amy said, hunging her head.

"I'm an optimist. But also a realist. Sonic is gone, Amy..." Silver said.

"If we're going to win, we had to do it without him.." Nebula finished.

"Nebula's right. We've been hoping for a miracle these past six months." Espio said.

"I'm afraid we need to make our own miracle" Tails finished for Espio.

"Eggman's army had everyone terrified. If we want the people to rally, we just had to show them that strength doesn't just come from numbers." Silver said

"Man, with these new guy working for Eggman and these zombots.." Nebula said.
