(long post warning)

my favorite sonic game probably has to be sonic cd.

yeah yeah, its far from a great game, i know. but i still really enjoy a lot of the things it has to offer.

like the overall aesthetic and feel, the beautifully composed soundtrack, and how the game acts as a decent introduction to one of the rawest villains in sonic history.

not to mention those animated cutscenes in both the beginning and ending of the game.

these are just pure goddamn chefs kiss.

theyre so smoothly animated and do a wonderful job at capturing the essence of sonics personality.

i love how the characters are drawn in these cutscenes also and they've been a somewhat huge inspiration for how i draw my own characters.

Sonic games tend to go a lil too fast for me, messing up my reaction time and all, so I thought to lean into that by making a #Sonicsona who takes things a bit slower and enjoys nature.
