so, you all noticed that most of my OCs are indeed girls but rarely male characters or characters that have the body structure of a guy, don't get me wrong, I still draw guys, otherwise it'll be boring asf but there's a couple of reasons why I prefer making female characters instead

1. I quite struggle when making a male character

for some reasons, I always struggle when making a male character design. Idk why but I feel like male characters (especially human ones) doesn't have much of a variety, sure, there are some greatly designed male characters and I'm not here to criticize the other people's art styles but from my personal point of view, male characters don't feel to have that much of a personality, I try to give my male characters a little bit of more personality yet I always feel less satisfied, like, I feel like that specific character is too flat for my liking. I've made other male characters that I feel proud of but not as proud like the female characters, if you catch what I mean

2. it's mostly related to my gender identity

this should be pretty much self-explainatory and I feel like that there's other artists out there that understands what I mean. For a period, I tried to experiment with she/her, now I use any pronouns but I still don't use he/him that much, that's because, I quite dislike being a guy. No, I don't absolutely despise my body, but I have my fair share of wishes to be another gender, and this of course, affected my art as well. Don't need to go that in depth, cause I belive that most trans artists know what I mean

and yeah, that's kind of it :P. There are other reasons of course but these two are the main ones. Of course, feel free to comment constructive criticism if you have any (by possibly not being rude of course).
