Sorta important question regarding development updates


So I know currently I'm keeping a bit of a veil of mystery about the game (or at least trying), but I'm wondering if it's even worth keeping the mystery up. Should I just do what I've done in the past and just show off some screenshots and videos of this prototype in it's early, unfinished stages?

Option 1: Keep it under wraps until the prototype looks more like a proper, cohesive game

Option 2: Show off some screenshots, videos and gifs of the game's development, regardless of it's unpolished state and temporary assets

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.
