Soul Echoes, now in GameJolt!

This past June, we entered a contest to make a full RPG from scratch, and this is the result: Soul Echoes.

It’s a short RPG (about 1 hour long), so we focused on the plot and the combat system rather than grindable content: all the battles are scripted and quite difficult from the beginning, but you can change your party at any time to combine your heroes’ skills to overcome any challenge.

There are different endings too, as there are choices to make and some of them are hidding in plain sight! Pay attention to what happens and what everyone says, and don’t worry if you get to a dead end. Maybe you can do something different on your next playthrough!

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Heya there! I really wanted to show you all a little gameplay preview of the first boss fight i'm currently working on i hope you like it ^^

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698
