Soupy Tips 2: Game Pages


Note: I'm not all-knowing. I just want to voice my opinions and personal gripes.

So I've decided to make this like a series of tips and advice for people starting out. My last post about AU takes got featured before, so I thought maybe I should make more of these to help those out that want them!

I've seen so many new Undertale fangame pages here and there, and I just want to say one thing: please, wait until you have decent progress on your demo before putting so much time and effort into making a game page. So many developers having their page be dormant or fangame get cancelled because they don't have programmers. So many hopes given up, angry comments, demotivation. Programmers are far and few within this community, and not everyone is going to see your help wanted posts or reach out to you offering help. I know from experience :')

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
