Estoy trabajando en como sacar mejores tomas del proceso y creo que me gustan estos ángulos, aun no tengo agendado tatuajes grandes como los que me gustaría enseñarles, pero igual quiero compartirles esta tarde de tattoo y vacilón!

Hoy tatuamos a Piru, el dueño del estudio en Limón centro, ciudad caribeña principal de CostaRica. Acá es donde atiendo a los clientes, y nacen nuevos proyectos artísticos.

Para las palmas de las manos, hay que considerar varios factores, como la textura de la piel, la profundidad a la que hay que inyectar la piel, y muy importante es el método.

La textura de la huella dactilar añade grosor, y también tiende a ensuciarse mucho muy facilmente, por lo que es muy importante tener una tecnica de aplicación limpia, y ser consciente de que por el mismo grosor, no es mala idea sacár más la aguja para poder inyectar en la dermis, no con trazos porque la resistencia que opone la piel a la aguja y el motor va a impedir llegar a la capa de piel que queremos teñir.

Yo opino que usar puntos sirve mejor, puede que tome más tiempo, e igual ocupe retoques🤭 pero es mejor tener algo que poder seguir trabajando, a hacer un tatuaje definitivamente mal. Entonces me gusta trabajar con puntitos, para ir construyendo lineas o color solido. Así no hacemos trauma innecesario en la palma del lienzo🤨 tomando en cuenta que la mayoría de la tinta la va a perder durante los primeros 3días que tomen los poros en sellarse.

☝️Tomar en cuenta que las manos están siempre en uso, y que entre los pliegos se puede perder mucha tinta por el movimiento, cuando el poro esta abierto y la piel esta bajo estrés y se mueve mucho, etc... La piel va a tender a botar la tinta que estaba dentro. 🙌 Mantener las manos limpias, no sobre hidratar, evitar el uso pesado de las manos, evitar sumergir mucho las manos, usar guantes en algunos casos es útil, y entender el proceso, este tatuaje va a ocupar retoques! 🫴 Hay que aceptarlo, y con su artista sería buena idea consultar si esta dispuesto o tiene experiencia con este tipo de proyectos, este tipo de piel no se trabaja como el resto del cuerpo.😉

I'm working on how to get better shots of the process and I think I like these angles. I still don't have any big tattoos scheduled like the ones I'd like to show you, but I still want to share this afternoon of tattooing and fun with you!

Today we tattooed Piru, the owner of the studio in downtown Limón, the main Caribbean city in Costa Rica. This is where I see clients, and new artistic projects come to light.

For the palms of the hands, several factors must be considered, such as the texture of the skin, the depth at which the skin must be injected, and the method is very important.

The texture of the fingerprint adds thickness, and also tends to get stained very easily, so it is very important to have a clean application technique, and to be aware that because of the thickness of the outer layer, it is not a bad idea to push the needle out further to be able to inject into the dermis, not with strokes because the resistance that the skin opposes to the needle and the motor will prevent you from reaching the layer of skin that we want to INK!.

I think that using dots works better in this areas, it may take more time, and it may also require touch-ups🤭 but it's better to have something to keep working on, than to do a tattoo that's definitely bad. So I like to work with dots, to build up lines or solid color. That way we don't cause unnecessary trauma to the palm of the canvas🤨 taking into account that most of the ink will be lost during the first 3 days that the pores take to seal.

☝️Keep in mind that your hands are always in use, and that between the folds you can lose a lot of ink due to movement, when the pore is open and the skin is under stress and moves a lot, etc... The skin will tend to leak the ink that was deposited. 🙌 Keep your hands clean, don't over-moisturize, avoid heavy use of your hands, avoid submerging your hands too much, wearing gloves in some cases is useful, and understand the process, this tattoo is going to require touch-ups! 🫴 You have to accept it, and on regards to your artist, ask if they are willing to work on a project like this, it is not a common tattoo to come by and this skin type is not to be worked like the rest of the body.😉
