When you just look at the picture, it just looks pixelated with sharp patterns, lines, textures, wrinkles.

But when you tilt your head back, you can see it realistically see it better, like a photograph.


A spatial frequency illusion—also known as a hybrid image illusion—is a visual trick where two different images are combined into one so that what you see depends on your viewing distance or how you look at it.
