There are quite a few changes in the latest reissue of the first part of Five Nights with Froggy. This list will help you understand them in more detail.
By no means read or skim the changelog if you want to investigate the changes in the game yourself!
Various changes
There are both significant changes and not so much. Let's start small.
New stylistic theme. The main text color in the game is now lime green;
The style of play was reworked to match the universal style of the FNwFroggy series, which was already applied in the second reissue of FNwFroggy 2;
Almost all of the graphics in the game have been redone;
Redesigned main menu. No more cheap icons, now the menu is made in the style that is universal for FNwFroggy;
Now you can choose the night;
Now you can find out how much progress you have in the game (as a percentage);
A complete reference guide that contains information about both toys and other characters. Additionally contains articles about some subjects;
Updated section "Miscellaneous" (formerly "Additional"). It now contains useful links and more interesting stuff;
A gallery has been added to the game, the design of which refers to one mini-game with paintings from the first two editions of PNsFroggy. Be sure to visit it when you unlock the "Miscellaneous" section;
The screamer section is now available natively, but each screamer must now be unlocked before you can watch it;
Reworked Thomas Defense minigame. From the main changes, the lamp now has a limited amount of oil, which can be replenished by clicking on the sometimes appearing barrels, and now there is a Golden Froggy in the mini-game;
In the "Miscellaneous" section, you can go to the game's trailer, as well as briefly learn about other parts (the "Games of the series" section will be updated in the future);
The game now has full credits;
You can now get seven stars in the game;
A little more secrets;
Discord Rich Presence support;
The game now checks for an update.
Story plot scenes
Previously, FNwFroggy was rather vague in terms of plotting, but now the game reveals the plot a little more.
New introductory scene. First appeared in the third reissue, but now the introductory scene is much larger and more detailed;
"Royal News" newspapers have been completely rewritten, and one new newspaper has also appeared;
The handbook knows not only about the methods of protection, but also describes everything from the point of view of lore PNsFroggy;
Calls from Lorenzi have been re-recorded with minor plot changes;
Calls from Lorenzi can be skipped only after the first listening;
At certain points, the thought of Thomas (the character you are playing) is shown;
Rewritten SMS messages that Lorenzi or King Froggold can send to you;
Vandals, who were previously only mentioned, now fully participate in the game. More about them in the section about the gameplay;
Slightly redone scenes with someone walking around the palace. The photos were processed, and a special effect was applied in the scenes themselves;
The real reason for the loss of Froggy's eye has now been revealed in the game;
Daniel comes out from behind the curtains, and now he is involved in some of the plot scenes;
You now have the opportunity to dine with Froggold himself!
It is not Lorenzi who will now tell you how to protect yourself from toys;
The game has two endings. They are not much different, but one of the endings can unlock "Daniel's Night".
Gameplay
This is where the more interesting thing in terms of changes begins. Now you have to not just sit in a hut and protect yourself from toys, now you have to work fully.
New mechanics with a box of matches and a lamp. Now, in order to turn on the light, you will need to get the box, open it, get the match out of it, strike the box with the match, bring the match to the lamp. Do not forget to shake the match to extinguish it;
You can get fired in four different ways. Did you manage to dislike the king with all of them?
Now you can not only view SMS messages in the phone, but also use the camera;
Now the amount of oil in the lamp is not displayed as a percentage;
When there is very little oil left in the lamp, the light begins to flicker more intensely;
Now the computer uses not something there, but Royal CTTV v1.0.64;
The map of the garden territory has been reworked;
The map can be hidden;
Cameras can be switched both on the map and with arrows to scroll through cameras;
If you often wind up the box, then a time limit will work, which will not allow starting the box;
Vandals are now entering the garden. Your task is to drive them away using a special panel through which you can send an alarm signal to a place whose camera is now open;
Now you can activate the fire alarm (not recommended);
At the end of the night, there is a calculation of how much damage the vandals have done to the garden. The night will be considered passed if the vandals caused no more than 50% of the damage;
The night vision mode has appeared. Useful if something is difficult to see in the darkness of the night.
Levels and game modes
Previously, there were only eight story nights in the game (seven nights of Thomas and zero night of Daniel), but now there are a little more of them.
Added endless night. Stay on it as long as possible;
Zero night has been renamed "Daniel's Night", and it is no longer considered secret, but now it must be unlocked;
Added two secret nights.
Changes in the mobile version
Well, about the changes that concern only the mobile version.
The game now has a log background instead of black stripes on the sides;
Adequate upgrade shop;
New achievements;
New lists of records;
Vibration setting;
With one loss, you can "revive" for watching a commercial.
