SS! Is back and better than ever, and to prove it... time for a much needed DEV-LOG!

Lets start:

SPRITES!

Chara :

Our Chara sprite has been updated!
Yes that's old news for some, but to others Chara now looks even more snazzier and cuter than ever!

Asgore:

Yes that's right!
Asgore has gone through quiet some changes since last we saw him.
Now sporting a more royal color rather than blue!
And a new hairstyle!
Man his barber must be very good!

Tactics Menu:

Our new battle system (which will be explained here shortly)
contains these new sprites called
"SKILLED EMOTES"

As shown bellow these were updated to not look so sub-pixeled.

And now to conveniently shift to our new battle system explanation...

Battle System!

Our battle system has conveniently went through some changes.

Why you may ask?

Simple.
Sensational wants to suffer.

Just kidding!
We wanted to add new gameplay features to suit the experience.

What's this experience?

Simple.
Sensational's suffering.

JUST KIDDING!
This Underswap wants to take each gameplay element of undertale and spice it up some. Add some suger, lime, and pepper.

Put that into a sans fangirl blender and BOOM!

Introducing (for like the 5th time) SKILLS (TACTICS)!

Tactics are a way to customize you experience ten more times than you would originally have!

You get to choose your Tactics before entering battle in the overworld menu.

Why are these a thing?
Simple.

Emotional Customizability!

Want to go into the same encounter but instead of hugging you want to flirt? Well good!

Just remember to complete the skill correctly!

Each skill has a different attack mini-event to complete!

So the game intractability just sky rockets!

If done wrong you sadly don't do the skill correctly and the desire effect does not work.

BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO FIGHTING AND MERCY OPTIONS?!?!

Mercy is still available in the menu as a permit option.

Rather the blue colored skills have either a ( + , or - ) sign.

( - ) signs skills are negative skills.

Meaning they do the boom boom bad bad.

( + ) Positive skills do positive things. These could act as power up boost or instant spares!

Though you wont know this because for each battle... EVER SKILL IS DIFFERENT!

Meaning good luck finding the best of the best!

( Guarding and Fleeing are pretty self explanatory...)

Moving on.

Cutscene Sequence Changes:

After a long time with Starlightshore we decided the best action was to redo the cutscene order and character development for some characters to give them time to shine throughout the demo.

Meaning:

This mysterious gang of misfits is now introduced... earlier.

Giving light to new and more expansive character developed scenes!

Deltarune?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Yes the deltarune overworld mechanic has been implemented into our game.
I mean come on.

It was bound to happen.

All the cool kids are doing it now, so why not jump on the band waggon?

But what's different?

Nothing much yet. We have plans on added different gameplay features to spice it up. Features such as

SOUL MODES. Though it's too early to really start doing those just yet. But that is coming eventually!

And Finally! MUSIC!

Snowy is a great and talented musician and so I want to make sure I thank him with all my heart for these tracks. Go check them out!
