Their relationship is pretty good, although basically, the toons are in Mewni because Moon felt sorry for them (BRO! PNMICKEY SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR! HE'S POOR!) And basically, Moon realized something: the toons don't care about Mewni, or magic, or the queens in the slightest; they just want to be with Star, because in their eyes she's like a mother taking care of her children. So basically, Star now has seven ink pets:
