Starbot 1.1 Release + Fanart


I uploaded a new release a week or two ago after being featured on rpgmaker.net’s front page!

Updates from v1.0:

  • Changed the title screen text!! cool!! wow

  • Added/moved lamplighter NPC

  • Added a couple notes and drawings

  • Fixed star appearing in the wrong place on some maps

  • Fixed (sooo many) typos

  • Fixed collision issues on the tower satellite

  • Fixed items not being removed when used

  • Fixed a trigger for moving tiles map

  • Fixed some minorly unclear mapping in the dream worlds

Currently, Starbot is being translated into Spanish, and it’s possible I will be able to work on French translation in the future with a friend. I’m moving on from this project, but I’d really like to thank everyone who’s played and given really thoughtful feedback!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

A merchant has set up shop in our dungeons. Because where else would you open a general store?
