Started trying to make a somewhat realistic endo arm (Not in terms of making it look like part of an actual chuck e cheese robot, but in terms of making the mechanisms make enough sense to suspend your disbelief.)
Next up
Is his mouth a bit too empty? Should I add more to the mouth area of the endo? I'd like to hear your thoughts!
Made a menu.
I decided to add a top hat and nose to see what the hippo looks like as Freddy. He looks better as Freddy. Time to decide to completely pivot from what I was doing to making the FNAF cast in this style.
I took another crack at the low-poly style of models, but now with more experience and research. I specifically tried to nail a ps1-style aesthetic. Complete with fake lighting and low-res textures.
Sooo I didn't finish the endo. My bad. I'm working on it though. here's a side view of the head of the endo. (Don't worry, I will connect the eyes to the head, I swear.) Expect the whole thing to take a while
Made a ps1-style shed. Sorry if it's too dark.
So if I were to (And this isn't sarcastic, it's a genuine hypothetical) hypothetically learn a 3d game engine and decide to add minigames, should I give the minigames a ps1 style? The attached image shows what the style may look like.
I finished the outer costume. Now I'll have to make the endo (I'll do it tomorrow.)
Current endo progress
Sometimes, it's best to just redo something entirely (The colored image is my third, and current attempt at a hippo animatronic, and the other is my first attempt. Yes, you have permission to roast the first attempt.)
