I want this project to have a lot of characters, of all types! I don't want to make all of them myself, so I'm asking YOU to help me with adding new ones!

Here is my criteria for accepting characters:

• The characters can only be human. I'm not personally against anthro/furry characters, but they don't exist in this specific project's world.

• They can't be offensive in any way. This should be pretty obvious though!

• The characters can technically be any age, but I prefer if they were younger [<40] because people tend to have shorter lives when they live in the cold and darkness.

• They have to have a detailed personality and backstory. For examples, both of the 2 existing characters have an outer personality [calm, smug, happy, etc.], and an inner personality [depressed, anxious, evil, etc.].

• You can use AI for ideas, but your character has to be made mostly by you only.

• You must make a reference drawing of them, AND describe their physical appearance. I'll make a drawing of them myself, and add it to the site as well.

A tip for making on making decent SotN characters:

• Give them a tragic/traumatic backstory. Life tends to go wrong in their [and our] world...

If you submit a Streets of the Night character, use the tag #streetsofthenightoc and put your character in the brand-new Submitted Characters channel of the SotN community!
