The budgerigar (known as budgie / Melopsittacus undulatus) is a small parrot (more specifically: parakeet) native to Australia, but you will likely see them all over the world as they have become a very common pet, due to their playful behaviors, talent at mimicking human speech and small size!
They come in many colors, but only a few patterns. The most common being mixes of yellow and green (1&2), mixes of white and different shades of blue (3), albino [all white only (4)], and lutino [all shades of yellow only (5)]
