State of the Game Update 8/21/2018: Good Times Ahead

Hi, everyone! Firefly here! We have some super good news to share today! I’ll start by sharing the smaller things, leading up to our big announcement.

First off, we have a wonderful new thumbnail thanks to our amazing artist, Vinpie! It’s based on this piece of Undertale promotional art. He did an absolutely outstanding job with it, and the entire team is very content with his work here. Big thanks to him!

Second, I can officially say that tomorrow (8/22/2018), the script for our second one-off comic will be finished. It was pushed off for a little while due to other things on the project requiring our attention, but rest assured, we have not forgotten about these comics, and we intend to get the next one to you guys soon.

Finally, our big announcement. The game engine is finally prepared for demo production! Me and the team will be hard at work creating the rest of the assets we need for the demo and play-testing alpha builds to assure that the demo is released in good condition, as soon as it possibly can be. We’ll be taking our time, obviously, to make sure every nook and cranny is accounted for, but we’re moving onto the next step, everyone. Hold onto your seats!

Thank you for reading, and have a good day.

Happy 4th Birthday, Undertale!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Finished a project I've been working on over the last few days!

Modeled and textured in Blender.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

I did this on my 3DS ^^ #Kirby

Path of Kami, running around the shrine area

Ladies & gentlemen.. The Blender logo factory! I had a ton of un making this animation. I'll be making a short tutorial on picking up/dropping object in Blender for animations next week! What do you think?

Added an exit portal to the maze SRP project. It has a simple effect using scrolling UV's and particles.
