Hello to anyone reading these. So in the beggining this month was kinda chaotic for me, I had to work on so many assignments and do some tests for some of my classes, but everything has calmed down for the moment. I have had a ton more free time these past 2 weeks and althought I've been working on this game, I feel like I have done absolutely nothing. And I think the reason that is, is because what I've mostly done for this game has been pixel art, which i haven't done much of.

But anyways, what have I done this month? We'll it's not much compared to last year, but definetly more than last month.

Pixel Art?

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make any for the game, but I did make some Concept art for an area in this game.

Concept Art:

I haven't figured out a name for this place yet, but I orginally planed this area to be water based. In the picture there are many mountains, and some of them are kinda like volcanos, but instead of spitting out lava, they release this water-like liquid called "luminous water" which is just water that emits a light blue glow. There is also a city on the right which is where the residents of this place live.

Also originally this was gonna be concept art for a character I had in mind, but since I'm not good at drawing characters I decided to draw the background first and yeah that's about it for this section.

Music?

Music has been worked on, but unfortunately making music that gives off a certain feeling is hard for me, but I am doing what I can do get them done as soon as possible.

Coding?

I did say I wanted to do code start coding this game this year, but coding is something I don't have much experience, and If I don't get to code at least the beginning by the end of summer, I'll try to see if i can get someone to help me with that.

Extras:

Ok, since I haven't been making much progress on this game, here are some other things I've done this month:

This is some art I made of Reimu from touhou. I have been getting into touhou recently and to show the love I have for it I made this. Also I sent this on a discord server and the people there liked it a lot, even the owner noticed it and liked it. That actually brought warmed my heart, I am really proud of this, and seeing that others liked it, made me even prouder.

This peice was made back in February, but I forgot that I actually made it during that time. This was made as way to keep my pixel art style consistant, since I was unable to do any art back then.

And finally here are some sprites for a little Terraria mod I'm working on with some other people. These are some clams with coral on them and inside is a little orb that is supposed to represent the sun or moon. These are meant to replace the ocean music boxes in Terraria, and I am proud of how these turned out. But not only was I proud, but the others in the group liked them a lot. So much that I think I might have motivated them to work on some of the other music boxes that need to be worked on.

But that's about all, I really hope I can do more this next month, but If not then maybe there will be more in the summer. But anyways, that's about it, good bye, I'll bee back on 30th of April!
