People have been asking the devs to re-enable the steam overlay, because it disables some important features, and so they did!
If you do not know about this, the developers completely disabled the steam overlay in order to fix issues with performance during 5-X's unique effect. People had issues with turning off the steam overlay due to a weird setting in steam, and so the devs figured that it'd be the best option to just outright disable it.
