Sterling Chase Cancelled. (For now)

I’m really sorry guys, but for now, Sterling Chase as we know it now is officially cancelled. :(

When I started this project, it was initially meant to be a very small project, but as I wrote the script, I realized it quickly escalated into a huge project that would be impossible for a first time game developer.

As I continued production on the game, I quickly realized that I don’t have the skill or talent to pull it off well, and it would just be a jumbled mess of bad art and poor gameplay.

Now I will eventually start this project again, once I have learned a little more about game design. (I intended to take a class on game design, but the class was full when I went to sign up. :P)

I will start on other projects for now to better my skills.

For anyone who was following this game to get their horror fix, my next (much shorter) project should provide scares simillar to what Sterling Chase would have provided.

Again, I apologize, but I can indeed confirm that when Sterling Chase does eventually comes back, it will be amazing.

I will upload that next project soon.

(And I’m also planning on doing something with Sterling Chase’s current script, not a game, but something so I can show the story to the world :))

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I made a small jungle house.
