Steve RPG 2.1.4 is out now! Read the changelog below;


  • "Restored" the unused sprites for Illager's death scene in the demolitionist route. They were never there in the first place, but only now did I think to finally give them use.

  • boredom events are now much easier to come by. Yippee!

    • Specifically, the randomization has been decreased from 0-2000 to 0-30. Each event had to be adjusted accordingly. If you're curious, I've updated the boredom.txt file in the Xtras folder.

    • I may not have changed each location that randomizes from 0-2000, so just in case I didn't, I added a new always on common event that re-randomizes the boredom variable (between 0-30) if it's above 30.

  • In the settings menu, you can now choose to enable every single boredom event, instantly causing each one that has yet to be triggered to now trigger at a 100% chance.

  • Re-added in the percentage number next to the chance number to the descriptions of Enchanted Netherite weapons, because I know how to calculate the percentage of things now.

  • The text in the menu for displaying your emeralds and time played has been adjusted so it now says Emerald(s) instead of Emerald.

  • Updated the butterfly's game over fakeout so it appears to be more convincing. Specifically, the game over music now plays, and the game over image has been updated to the new one.

  • Fixed more narrator dialogue inconsistencies.

  • Steve's actor/stats screen description now changes dynamically depending on the points you are in during the demolition route.

    • Additionally, in the normal route, there is a funny easter egg if you view his stats screen after he dies... but before he is revived.

  • Village resident kills (villagers, priests, golems) now show up as a score on the Steve RPG (Game Jolt) leaderboards. A new variable has been added that is persistent, even through New Game + runs. The score is submitted under these conditions; pressing the save button in the menu (so, yes, this also works for Hardcore mode) or interacting with a save point.

  • Added 4 new trophies that tie in with the new score(s);

    • [Bronze] On a Roll | Kill 10 villagers.

    • [Silver] Pest Control | Kill 50 villagers!

    • [Golden] Just A Little Sadistic | Kill 100 villagers!?

    • [Bronze] I Just Think They're Neat | Interact with 100 sinks.

  • Sinks interacted with now show up as a score on the Steve RPG (Game Jolt) leaderboards. This new variable is also persistent through New Game + runs, and the scoreboard is also updated when the previous conditions to update the previous score are met.

I am working on Build 22, which will make many changes to my systems. Specifically, the menu has a new look, and I'm fixing the lag issues (finally).
