I've been wondering, is this actually enough RAM to run Blender? It likes to crash for no reason and I was wondering if this was the probme.

I'm pretty new to Blender, and I don't know how to color this chair. Can someone please tell me how to color it? For the record, I am using Blender 3.4.1
