Today, I put some time into working on village generation in order to take some steps towards Vitality’s settlement system. Currently the villages are relatively bare-bones; however, the concept is in place and will be expanded on in the future.
For the Stone Age, villages will consist of various huts, accessories (tanning racks, spit roasts, etc), and NPCs. Villages will be dynamic, and serve as a key foundation for Vitality’s overall gameplay.
I also put a bit of time into what we refer to as “random scenarios” throughout the world. Specifically, I worked on getting dynamic Placerias (a type of dinosaur) nesting grounds to spawn in the world.
