You all are used to that cliche formula those typical EXE Games are taking, right? “Secondary Character encounters the Possessed Main Character, the Possessed Main Character proceeds to stalk and then dessasemble said Secondary Character, and then… OH NO, A JUMPSCARE. I’M FALLING OUT OF MY SEAT. WOO-HOO. …Right?
But as time has gone by… those typical games are straying away from the cliche, and diving straight into their own unique stories. Whether it’d be a remake of Sonic.exe, or an EXE Game that dives into a pretty serious… yet slightly disfigured backstory, there’s always a chance to fully immerse the player into the world that has steadily been crafted into a horrifyingly creative masterpiece.
[And I’m working my way towards that, too. Check out my EXE Game:]

And this game is living proof that anything can be art, especially if said art can be used to picture the world of a once meme worthy cringefest as something that’s even edgier than it’s original depiction. And with a different presentation, no less.
If you guys are dying to play something that plays similarly to Castlevania, then you’re in luck. This Fan-Game is the perfect choice for a Halloween Playthrough. As Shadow the Hedgehog, you have the ability to shoot “Energy Blasts”at enemies (it does a reasonable amount of damage, too). And as Rouge the Bat, you can use your “Blast Rain” and “Spiral Blast”to attack your enemies.
As far as the ratings go, it’s official that this game is getting a 10/10 for having great storytelling, character building, and world building. The developer of this game really does know their Castlevania, as those are represented by both the way your character fights, and the enemies that you fight. Kudos to you for the amazing tribute to that game and for the awesome Easter Egg at the end of the game. (The audience won’t know what it is… unless they play if for themselves.)
