(Context: in this universe, *sonic R was released on the PlayStation* and there is no such thing as the tails doll, it only became known as rumors started spreading of this story and they called it the “Foxdoll curse”)

A man came home from work with a gift for his son: a new video game, Sonic R. It was a racing game, and when he presented it to his son, the boy was filled with excitement and wanted to play right away. That night, they enjoyed playing the game together and had a great time. A few days later, the boy was almost finished with the game. His dad was in his room when he defeated the last boss, and the boy roared in excitement upon his victory. With a smile, his dad asked him how he liked the game as they watched the credits roll. Curious about a character that appeared on the screen, he asked, "What's that?" The boy replied that it was the Tails Doll, which was all he knew about it.

It was nighttime when the father was preparing to sleep. Suddenly, he heard a knock at his bedroom door, followed by a tiny, hushed voice saying, “I haven’t felt the sunshine; did you?” Startled, the father jumped out of bed, concerned for his son's well-being.

When he opened the bedroom door, he found nothing there. I hurried to check on his son and, upon entering his room, saw that the boy was safe and sound. However, he remembered the Sonic R game he had given his son, so he decided to take the PlayStation it was on. He quietly unplugged all the wires from their outlets.

As the father made his way to the living room, he noticed that the console felt unusually hot. How could it be so warm? He had seen his son turn it off just before bedtime. Why was it so searingly hot? He wondered to himself.

Upon reaching the living room, he began plugging in the PlayStation. Curiously, he thought about the Tails Doll character his son had mentioned. When he bought the game, there was no mention of a doll character, which he found odd.

After booting up the game and navigating to the character selection menu, he found no Tails Doll character. However, he did notice something strange about the Tails model; it was colored differently than he expected. It was a brownish color. Strange, cause he remembered the fox character being more yellow than brown. He also noted that the model had no eyes whatsoever and every time the father tried to select the tails character, it wouldn’t let him play it instead it would kick him out and he would have to boot up the game again.

He finally decided to pick a different character after repeatedly failing with the weird-looking Tails character. Instead, he chose to play Sonic, the title character, and started one of the races against Dr. Eggman. One strange thing he noticed while playing was that the game continuously played “Can You Feel The Sunshine?” during a specific map called “Resort Island.” Even after finishing the race, the music kept playing as he prepared for another race, all of a sudden the screen turned black as the weird tails model slowly faded in, and text started appearing saying the following “Do you know how it is to not feel the sun?” Then it went on to say “I Can't Feel the sunshine, why?” while it was saying this the father was thinking of a response to it, even though knowing Full well that he couldn’t even talk to it or so he thought,

But then the silence was broken with hushed and crunchy audio “I’m mad you know? seeing you people live your days in the sun, while I spend my days sulking over the fact that I can’t feel the sun” as a pair of cartoonish looking eyes started appearing on the weird tails model “I wish to Feel the sun again…” it pleaded “so Please… let Me OUT. SO I CAN FEEL THE SUN THAT I NEVER FELT BEFORE.” as it said this, it started banging at the screen and the screen started cracking, with a loud trick, the father panicked so he quickly grabbed the nearest blunt object and threw it at the TV.

Later on the next day, he went back to the store that he bought the game from and returned it, he never told his son what happened to that game, playing it off as if it didn’t happen.
