Recently, I was typing in the web address for google.com, when I accidentally missed the O. Had some of my passwords compromised, I was only warned of a few, so I assume it didn't hijack everything. Managed to get them back (I think), so hooray. It looked exactly like google except the tip off was that it was on light-mode and I was signed out. It also deleted itself from my computer history.
This is why you prioritize internet safety.
