Although he was a successful experiment, he had to be killed with a shot to head due to a failed attempt to erase his memory and turn him into an obedient soldier (Memory erasure affects everything except knowledge of weaponry and martial arts. It was solely for the sake of such knowledge that violent criminals were used in the experiments).

They didn’t have time to destroy the subject’s suit due to an emergency at research complex. So the suit had to be locked away in a “special room” until situation calmed down.

But… situation never did calm down, and suit became obsessed with its owner, waiting for the moment when it would be released…
