Just a quick reminder following Linus Torvalds' latest update: please do not use AI tools to scan the Linux kernel for security flaws.
Right now, the security mailing list is getting flooded with identical, automated reports. Multiple people are running the same AI tools and spamming the maintainers with the exact same duplicates—or reporting bugs that were already fixed months ago.
Our maintainers are mostly volunteers, and drowning them in AI-generated noise just takes away precious time they could spend actually improving the kernel. Let's keep it human, check existing discussions first, and avoid the automated spam! 🐧💻
