“Super Mario World Odyssey”, a minor stretch of the truth from what the original Super Mario Odyssey had to offer. But that didn’t stop me from playing this fun masterpiece of a ROM Hack.

(Starting today, I will be doing a few playthroughs of this game instead of reviewing them. I’ll be going back to doing normal reviews much sooner than you think.)

Since this ROM Hack is currently incomplete, it only gave me half of the experience I was expecting. But in all due respect… I do admire some the things you could do in this particular hack.

For instance… when you use Cappy to Cap-ture an enemy, you ACTUALLY feel like you are playing as said enemy. But the only minor problem is” The enemies are a bit wonky when you’re controlling them”. (Especially the Koopa Troopas. Yikes, what on EARTH happened to them?)

But apart from those negatives, I really did have an all-around *great time playing it. This ROM Hack gets a rating of 7/10* (at least* until it’s done) for properly implementing Cappy into a standard Mario Game. But it kinda lacks when you capture certain enemies, like Cheep Cheeps, Koopas, Floating Platforms (on the water), and even Monty Moles**.

Please give this ROM Hack a shot! You’ll be begging to play it some more.
