Surprise! The demo is out!

Hey, guys! The demo for the Quest for Endless Life II is now released!

Now I remember what I said in the last log, about the demo coming in mid-February, but the honest truth is, and I’m sorry to have pulled this on you, but it was a ruse.

I thought that if the demo came out earlier, then it would be more exciting.

I hope that you all enjoy this demo, but before you get too far into it, there are a few things that you need to know.

For one, Iceland isn’t as bad as I said in the last update. I fixed every glitch that I know of. But there still may be some minor bugs that I didn’t test for, like mountains showing up randomly, invisible objects, etc.

Secondly, like the original TQfEL, the conversion software that I use
advertises itself whenever you open or close the software. Please try to ignore it.

Thirdly, the demo only includes the first level (better known as a country) of TQfEL2, which is Iceland. Iceland is much different than the upcoming England and France, so try not to judge the game entirely on the demo.

Lastly (I like to make the fourth last, because it sounds better than “fourthly”), the audio system in this demo is very buggy, so I suggest either waiting a while on the title screen for the music to end, or turning off the sound entirely. I’ll try to make the final game’s audio system better.

Anyway, enjoy yourselves with this demo, and I’ll try to get this game to you all ASAP.

Thanks for reading (and hopefully playing),
Superben100!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Made my first ever animation.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
