So I’ve been talking with programmers to see if they can help and work things out. It sounds like I have to start from the ground up with this other engine, but I have already took the first step with said engine. First meetup was like driving a car into a wall, to see how bad the damage is gonna be (….for hours). Depending on how effective they are upon the next meetup next week, I may have to finish the rest of the game with the old engine in order to truly forward the project.
I will make another log to announce what the next step is later during next week. That being said, I did get an interesting handful of advices, and I will implement a few changes in later builds.
All this being said, looking back, my love for coming up with aesthetics and animations is strengthened (im satisfied with my past works), so I cant wait to hop back into making more sprites for our favorite characters and places, despite being a one-man-band.
Sidenote: If I have to come up with the AI on my own, just know the AI will come off as underwhelming due to limitations (so cross your fingers).

Pretty much restored Peko's first frame, which took about 2 months. I have one or two i have to get back but this took a while to make it clear. Tried to make a new sprite but changed my mind and worked on this

Ibuki's starting sprite is pretty much done. Just need to add detail to the shoes and see about adding in the necklace. Since she's very decorative, she's gonna be hell to animate, but should be worth it after making this awesome moveset i have for her.
