Now that he is going be in the movie, I wonder how there going make a reason why he wasn't in Garfield's life at ALL! He wasn't there when he met his family in the TV special "Garfield on the town". Or when Garfield met his family in the comics in 1984.He wasn't even there when Garfield's mother was having BIRTH in "Garfield: his nine lives" in 1988.

Tbh, I always just assumed that Garfield's father was dead before the making of this movie.
