So... you might be wondering. Discord's down. Game pages have been stripped, the profile's been replaced with a message that the account is no longer active. Is Team Darkpatrol gone for good?

Yup. That's it. Not coming back, either.

SO. I'm here to give my thoughts on everything, the details of several projects, and a final closure on all of this as one of the original founders of the team. Stick around for as long as you feel like.

PROJECTS STATUS

Alterstory, Directive: Dimension Collision, and Fuckyland 2 are unlikely, if ever, to see the light of day. All of these projects required a very large amount of collaborative work to become reality, and due to the team's dissolution - they're likely impossible in their current state. Alterstory, in particular, I'm quite sad about. But that's the way things go, I suppose. Fuckyland 1 and TRTFB1 will remain downloadable - the rest have had their builds taken down.

Gooby Frooby's Employment Simulator has been restored to my own game page, due to it being my solo project. If I do anything else with it, it'll be here.

THE FUTURE

The first thing to note: Team Darkpatrol will not return. This is not a fake-out, an early year haha funny, or anything. This is the end of these collaborations, all of the upcoming projects, and community. We're all returning to either independent work or other, smaller scale one on one collaborations. If you're looking forward to more work from any of us, please follow our respective accounts. I will personally be working on a few leftover projects and also be finishing the Dark Freddy game. Afterwards? I dunno. I'll figure something out.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS

Ever since I helped found this team, I really thought - "This is it. We're gonna be the guys that succeed in all this. We won't dissolve like all the others." And... well, here we are now. At the end of the day, I'm just tired. Life's been creeping up on me much faster and closer than I thought it would, and after all the things the team has been mired in over the years, it just hit a boiling point. It's really a rather dour ending to things, isn't it? But yeah. I've done my last dues to everything that's happened in the last five or so years in the team's real activity heydey. If you were around for most of that, or just supported the projects - Thanks. I mean it.

This is a final goodbye to everything relating to Team Darkpatrol. I hope everyone who has interacted with and downloaded the games had some fun times.
