Hi there, It's been a bit since we have shown progress. We are happy to say that progress has actually been very great, but we can't show a decent chunk of it.
To start off, this devlog is mostly focused on the ruins. There won't be super-major progress relating to boss fights or giant story elements. However, progress has been very good on other parts of the game, including boss fights, sprites, and music.
While we can't currently show everything, I want to list off what we have done:
Sprites for a boss battle got made, along with music, temporary sprites, a few attacks, and a mechanic.
Tilesets for the Ruins have been completed, with Snowdin's tileset mostly done.
Several sprite improvements.
Two unreleased tracks have been made (one being the boss fight mentioned earlier).
ENTIRE Ruins battle monster sprites have been made.
Battle Button sprites have new icons.
The Ruins
Currently, the ruins are the main focus when it comes to development; most of the sprites have been completed, and there should only be one track needing to be made for ruins. We have also taken the time to update overworld designs instead of just sticking to exactly what Undertale did.
Here is a short video showing the player walking through the ruins and encountering a monster, as well as a video of a froggit attack.
As you can see, we aren't just going to copy and paste Undertale's monster attacks. We find that boring and would rather take the time to make new attacks and patterns.

That's pretty much everything we wanted to show in this devlog. Hopefully we can start showing more progress around the ruins, and eventually Snowdin, due to all of this being revealed. We hope you like what we are cooking, as we want to make every part of this game feel as good as possible. The team and I have been working very hard to make this game, and we really can't wait to show off more in the future. Thanks for reading this, and have a nice day.
