Tech Demo 2!

Finally working on other aspects other than the Galaxy spawn! Working on Factions and AI now.

Factions

Factions are the galaxy teams, which consist of randomly generated Faction names so that getting the same one twice is unlikely! Some factions will give you a chance to prove yourself to them if your at a Neutral Standpoint with that faction. Some will trust you completely while others wont take any chances and attack on sight.

AI

The AI will wander around in a general area, and will interact with its surroundings depending on what type of AI it is! Resource Ships will go to asteroids and gather resources (which, if on an enemy team you can blow up and obtain these resources), Fighters will attack enemy teams on sight or attack neutral teams if attacked first.

Space Stations

Space Stations will refine resources once your Resource Ships drop off the resources. The space station will also be used to build ships, produce energy, and other features.

Possible Station Updates

In the far future, you will possibly be able to look at the insides of the stations and watch AI work. You will also have to give them sleeping quarters, along with food and oxygen! And if the time comes you will have to repair your station before running out of oxygen or possibly something else…
(This is all just and Idea and might not even be added to the game)

The factions and AI aren’t in this version! This is just the version that I’ve started working on them!
