technical update for newest 0.31 version


Technical update:


Menu:

Supports both keyboard and Joystick (XBox 360 pad)

Integrated Buttons Animation and Sounds

Animated loading page

Credits Panel

Options Panel to control:

Sound FX volume

Voice Volume

Music Volume

Game:

New player control system

Playable with analogue pads (XBox 360 tested)

Level narration implemented

Temporary objects in place to help player reach the boss

Dynamic camera


  • Art:

104 new alpha plane overlays,

Meteor and portal visual effects,

Particle system implementation,

New lighting system,

Atmospheric fog


  • Modelling:

29 new environment assets, all new textures- everything from caves to flowers.


  • Enemies:Completely new boss design

Enemy AI update

Hirudos can now be defeated by jumping on them,or crushed by rocks

Hunters can be crushed by rocks

Redskulls have IA


  • Audio:

New sound effects implemented, Sound effects consist out of several footsteps for different types of platforms (grass, sand, rocks, mud etc.) Sounds and audio for the endboss/monster(footsteps, growling, breathing). Special ambient backgroundaudio for the darkworld/darkforrest. Sound effects for “the hunters”, another enemy in the darkworld/forrest (walking, grunting, slobbing), Sound effect for an opening timeportal.

Ingame music and ambiance implemented
