in danganronpa

a bunch of sudents are trapped in a school

and the only way to escape

is to kill a student and get away with it.

if you get away with it, everyone besides the killer will die. And the killer will be able to escape.

but if the killer is caught…

the killer dies.

so in this nolan recieves “punishment” from monokuma for killing someone, at an attempt to escape.
