TEST_B_HISTORY


Welcome to TEST_B! You can now record your inputs and play them back! I will note however this still does NOT allow you to sync it to audio or save anything! That's for future tests.

So how does this work? Well we have 2 nodes- I'm gonna use the image above as the example- being the Timeline and Record nodes. Timeline simply outputs the time and you can play/pause, reset, ect. Record will take any inputs you feed into it (you'll need to hit the '+' button and add your own rows), output them, but also store them if the recording toggle is on. It stores them based on the 'Current Time' you'll have feeding in from the Timeline node (though you could be wacky and feed it any 'float'(number) node)

If you reset the time and play it back again, your inputs will replay!

IMPORTANT EXPLANATION: Upon additional layerings of recordings, it will ignore the initial input value (when hitting record or when time is set back to 0), that way the input's you aren't even messing with but are still technically 'being inputted' wont record again. IF you modify this input however it will now record these inputs alongside your previous layerings. If you do this in an unintended way this may result in weird jitter as successive playbacks fight between two different values you recorded!

I may eventually change this to simply overwrite previous layerings with your new inputs. For now just be weary that if you're using a constantly updating value (like the sine node) that you may wanna disconnect it for future layerings or it'll stack!

PATCH NOTES:

-Added 'Invert' 'Bool' 'Color' 'Timeline' 'Record' nodes.

-You can now pan the node screen with holding middle click, and zoom the screen with the scroll wheel

-Hovering over a node now brings up info about how to use it

-Hovering over an output will display its value

-Dragging a connection now has it display its color value without being connected yet

-Added a delete button on all nodes

-Clicking on the end of a connection now disconnects it

-Fixed nodes with larger sets of inputs getting exponentially longer to load

-Tons of bug fixes

-Fixed tone mapping
