Together Again: A "Lake's Funland" Story

1 year ago

Thank you & Happy (Early) New Year!

Well hello there! I don't know how to start, to be honest I genuinely don't like sounding cheesy, so I hope this doesn't turn out to be cheesy.

I can't say I found happiness this year, I can't say I really found the things I wanted to find nor can I say I got the satisfaction I've been looking for nearly a decade; however, I can admit this year wasn't any bad, I can admit this year treated me well, and I achieved things after years of work, not only "Together Again" but other things too.

I'm still touched that "Together Again" is done, so much time spent on it and now it's done; but you can't imagine how glad I am that it turned out the way it did. Thanks to all of you for supporting this project, for playing it, for having a good time with it, for believing in its potential to begin with.

What comes after this? I don't know, well, I do, I clearly do. For so long "Together Again" was planned to be my punchline, my farewell to the community after 9 years. Am I still the passionate FNAF fan I was in 2015 or 2016? Hell no, I'm not, but I'm still passionate of telling stories and creating new scenarios and characters; so no, this will not be the last you'll see from me. I definitely won't say anything about the next big project, you won't hear about it until there's something good enough to reveal. All I can say is that it's in an early stage of development, it won't be as ambitious as "Together Again", but I can assure it'll be a packed game, just in a smaller scale.

2024 has quite a few changes prepared for me. I'm finally heading off to college in just a few weeks, I'm not mentally ready for that but we'll see how it goes. I'll move to a new house in another place too; I've been living in my current house for 9 years now, and I remember when my family and I moved here, FNAF was only a month old! A fucking month old! I honestly don't know what else awaits next year.

To finish off this devlog, I would like to take a minute to thank all the people who were there for me... ah shit, that sounds cheesy doesn't it? How about "I want to express my gratitude to every good mf who provided assistance and support even if I was a bitter ass dude all year" that sounds more like me, yeah, it just needs a few curse words in there.

I want to thank, from the bottom of my frozen heart:

@steals , @SunkenStudios , @MaximumElevapor , @MrArkham @MewMarissa , @Wester , @FangameDirect , @BasicallyHats, @WolfoPotanesca , @FNAF_Fest , @FazbearGameverse , @HudsonHarrisVA , -Lighth0use-, Stephanie Pilavin, ItsSampai, Astra Orion, John Whinfield, @DoggoMafia , Games Production, Flequi Games, Kosta Vesta & Kraiten for being so enthusiastic about "Together Again" on their YT channels, L'Kvass, N1ceNToasty, ScouT2Illustrates, Veeboi, Taco Man, and every single one of you who have been loyal followers.

Happy (early) New Year, and I'll see you soon... very soon.

Can't remember if I ever talked about this one, but this is a frame for a scrapped draft of the TA trailer to be showcased on Fangame Direct in 2022. Before the final version, I made at least 2 more and I could never figure out how this one would play out

The original idea for Together Again's main menu was to have illustrations instead of Lil Mommy's renders... I couldn't figure out what to draw for the rest of the options, so I immediately scrapped this idea.

Try guessing the whole Together Again series death count and I'll gift you a Sunken Puppet

and the stage

The storm is over, and the show must go on. We're back at it, boys.

"Sweet Frances"

I remade a drawing from January, influenced a little by The Walten Files, giving TA's style some in depth detail. I also tried to make Rachel look accurate to the actress she's based on, I'm so proud of this one.
