Now that things have settled after launch, I’d like to publicly thank the people in the credits, and tell you what each of them did to help make the game special. Please, ask questions if you have any! First up:
Mark “Marowi” Wilson
Mark’s classical music training, and his drive for perfection, gives A Case of Distrust its unforgettable soundtrack. But he was more than just “the sound guy”. He’s right at the top of the credits for good reason.
Mark was a great friend in Edmonton, and an amazing co-worker at BioWare. Immediately after I left Visceral Games, he reached out to see what I’d be doing next. Before starting any real work on A Case of Distrust, we were already chatting about design choices and the game’s narrative. Once the game was ready for music, I knew where to turn.
While crafting the game’s audio, he was also my personal soundboard — any design dilemmas, I’d talk with Mark on our frequent (and often lengthy) telephone calls. A paragraph is really not enough to tell you how much Mark contributed to the game. A Case of Distrust would be nowhere near as good without him.
Mark — thank you!
