Thought I’d better make a little post about this now I have a spare moment of time. I’ve been absolutely stoked about the attention Flood the Chamber has gotten. It’s had features on numerous blogs and gaming sites, in particular Destructoid (http://www.destructoid.com/only-super-cool-dudes-can-beat-flood-the-chamber-161331.phtml) IndieGames.com (http://www.indiegames.com/blog/2010/01/freeware_game_pick_flood_the_c.html) and Kotaku Australia (http://www.kotaku.com.au/2010/02/lunchtimewaster-indie-water-torture/). It also got 3rd place in the Game Jolt Rogue Compo, which made me look like a smiley KniteBlargh character for a few days.

It’s been an honour, and apart from the lag and black screen issues that some people have had I couldn’t be happier with how the game has turned out. Thanks to everyone who has played, rated or comented on the game, to everyone at GameJolt for running such an awesome compo (and for my ad revenue) and to Brod and Nick Perrin who provided open source/creative commons resources for the project.
