Hello people.

I know there are Sonic fans, Mario fans and fans of both, so I've decided to post this work in both fan communities as a symbol of unity and shared love for video games.

I've spent many days making this drawing. It's my first fan art. I've drawn it in photoshop starting from scratch. All of this is my creation, without tracing or copy-pasting anything. I had a hard time getting the perspectives and shading right, but I'm finally satisfied with the result, and I hope all of you are too.

Here's a summary of the process of creating the moai drawing.

The WIP images are snapshots of my laptop screen, that's why they look so bad.

Butterflies live 1 or 2 weeks, and in that time they only do good things. They are peaceful, pollinate and color the world with their beauty.

You live much longer than they do. Take advantage of it, be like butterflies. 🦋
