That's right, the game's full release is finally here!
After a long few years, the game is finally complete, and development has concluded.
I'd like to thank everyone that has supported me, all the friends I have made along the way, and those of you who have shown interest in my endeavors.
It means a lot to me to finally be at this point, putting out the the first game I alone have made for the most part, and I'm glad I made it as far as I have.
So what's next?
Naturally, this will be the last major devlog. The only updates that will be put out from this point forward on this game will be patch notes.
Even so, I still have a passion for creating. I'll move on to other (preferably smaller) projects and work with friends to continue creating experiences for people to enjoy. I even have a gameplay prototype for another project in the works at the time of posting.
A couple of extra little bits about the upcoming release
As long as you have the game cleared on any file, you should be able to unlock at least Hard mode when going to the save select screen.
Over the three difficulties (Normal, Hard, and Curse), the "canon" name changes.
Normal - Aloe
Hard - Nettle
Curse - Verbena
Beating the new difficulties and completing the journal may unlock something special ;)
Of the mysterious texts, six are found in their respective regions of Thebryll, three can be dropped anywhere, and one has a special condition for being collected, possibly involving a bush in the middle of the lake.
You may also find that some appearances you may have missed under said bush will be accessible after the game has been cleared, as it normally depends on how many fragments you have at the time of visiting.
To those of you who read this far, thank you. Even if this game doesn't get much attention, I'll be happy to know that someone read through all of this.
