The aliens have invaded Steam!

The following message is for everyone who is able to fight! Aliens from outer space have just invaded our planet. The invaders appear to harvest and eat brains from any humans that are still alive! If you are able to fight, don’t waste any more time. Go set a high score and die like a bad-ass!

It came from space, and ate our brains features the following:

  • Different weapons, that can all be upgraded multiple times.

  • Stand your ground in different maps and areas.

  • Slay different type of aliens that want to eat your brain.

  • Multiplayer madness! You don’t have to die alone!

  • Various difficulty levels for beginners and seasoned survivors.

  • Scavenge the maps for additional supplies dropped by a drone.

  • Leaderboards! Who is the most bad ass among your friends and the world?

Starting from 13:00PM (GMT+1) there will be a Twitch channel online, which can be viewed here: http://www.twitch.tv/miedemantus. Ask questions, or join the developers for a round of chaos and try to survive as long as possible!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
